buddyclub, the spoon looks to small on the rsx. the tip its just too small, it looks funny in my own opinon.

yea the spoon is small ( same size as stock ) and i think the buddyclub would make more power and sound better

On a near stock ep3/rsx, an exhaust is not going to give you a lot of power, period.

The rest is just a bling factor of how large you want the grapefruit shooter tip and how loud you want the car to be.

^thats not true. not tons of power, but k series really open up with basic bolt ons. if your really spoony you'll get the spoon looks small, but function over fashion right? the spoon is a really well crafted piece. what buddy club are you thinking about? the spec 3 that actually has a muffler?
i would personally go with a t1r b pipe for its 2.5" goodness and a spoon n1 axle back from r&d, 350 shipped right now!

My post is true. An exhaust won't give you anymore than 1-2 HP on a mild bolt-on EP3/RSX. Sure, you go wild and an open exhaust will make a difference, but the oem exhaust is pretty free flowing.

Dyno sheets have been posted.

buddyclub is loud...i guess so is spoon. but i think you have more of a chance of getting rolled by a cop with the buddyclub due to how big it is.

i would think the buddyclub spec 3 would out perform the t1-r/spoon n1 combo.
but i dont know for sure.

yeah i searched alittle with no real results other than around 123 whp stock and saw one with a dc5r header, intake and exhaust putting down close to 150! I realize now we are speaking of k20a3's, right? even on those bolt ons for sure put down more power than that, have you seen a ep's stock midpipe? its 1.25"! anything around 2+" will gain good power on something that bottlenecked.

Bedies the B-pipe sucking in the EP3, the muffler section is very free flowing.

Just get the whole T1R set-up. It looks better than Spoon.

I've used both the Spoon with a 60mm Tanabe mid pipe and a Buddy Club Pro Spec. Both are loud but the BC has a "smoother" sound. Both gave me better throttle response from 4000 RPM+ but I only dyno'd the BC (127 HP/117 TQ). I like the sleeper look of the Spoon, got stopped and ticketed with the BC.
