Default Ground Stabilizer box???

First off i know that this thing can not add any HP. So what is this really going to do? I was actually looking for a new braided ground strap for my battery and i ran across these.

I know a good ground wire will help with the reduction of "electric noise" for the stero. But can it really help with the battery life and brighter lights? I personally think this thing is a waste of money and jsut another junk e-bay item. But I also wanted to know what you guys thought.

i don't know about that ground box, but a thicker ground is always better. and you wanna keep it as short as possible. anyways, yeah adding a couple of grounds has been proven to help out.

I've heard about these things being a scam before. This first pic is one of many thats kinda like what those two links are selling

someone with a 350z actually bought one and dismantled it to see what it was all about...and here's what he found

The following post is from another board that carried the above pics

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
The company that makes these makes the following claims:

What can be expected from DIRECT POWER SYSTEM
Increase of torque
Decrease in fuel consumption
Increase of accelerator response
Stronger, faster starting power
Steady Idling
Lowers vehicle emissions

This "product" ranges in price from $165.02 to $535.20.

There seem to be other versions of the same thing popping up.

While the DPS has been examined by a CE/EE and found to be nothing more than a scam, the other varieties of the same thing have not been checked yet.

Another product that makes the same claims as K&G Racing, Japan and looks similar.

This other product has not been tested or taken apart yet. However, it looks similar and makes the same claims.

Do what you can to get the word out about K&G Racing and their DPS! Post it on every board you know. Most distributors have ceased carrying it. However, there is a new website set up for US distribution of this scam.

ummm...well you decide

that one looks like a scam but some of the better companies make some that Sport Compact Mag did a test on about a year ago or so, like the above post said they actually did make a few extra ponies by cleaning up the ignition pulses. Sounds like everything on ebay though, if its really cheap it probly is

I doubt i will waste my money on the box. As far as the ground wires go I think i will be going through my car and replacing them with some nice braided ground like the ones that the old hot rods use. I allready have one for the valve cover to radiator support, and it works great and looks nice.
