Default Painting intercooler

is there a certain kind of paint that can be used on intercoolers to paint them black without hindering the performance to much.

Get it anodized or paint it with radiator paint.

the best way to do it is to anodize it,
i was too poor and couldnt get it done due to the downtime, so i just put a few light coats of radiator paint!

I just used a generic brand flat black, but I only fogged my endtanks so the light didn't shine off them (drag intercooler). My intercooler is mounted about an inch forward of the core support in a civic, so painting the fins wasnt really that BIG of an issue.
