sunroof wont close completely
i opened the sunroof of my 95 civic ex coupe and it wouldnt close completely. it slid back but it wouldnt go down. i tried the manual crank but it wouldnt budge. i didnt want to turn it anymore becus the crank felt like it was gonna strip. right now its just tilted up and i need it down becus it is getting cold here in minnesota. any ideas why it wont go down?
yeah i checked and it was clear of any debris. its stupid becus it all of a sudden it worked. dammit, it was freezing cold when it wouldnt close but then it closes when it gets a little warmer. oh well, i see the sunroof will never be opened anytime soon.
dont be alarmed, i have the same exact problem. Try cleaning the rails but if that doesnt help than i guess you gotta use your hand and push it as you close it to give some leverage.

my 95 ex was doing the same thing...it'd get stuck when it was cold, but worked fine when it was warm...
i cleaned all the tracks and parts that open and close my sunroof, and sprayed it with a silicone spray that's ideal for moving parts and to protect it against the weather...once i sprayed that stuff, my sunroof worked fine in cold weather...it's sorta like wd-40...but wd should work as good
