Default My car leans to one side or the other.

I've got a 94 Honda Civic EX with a suspension problem. The car is a bit lower (it leans) on the driver's side. When I'm sitting in it, it even leans more. And sometimes it'll even lean to the right side. I've changed the struts (front shocks and springs) but it hasn't made a difference. Someone told me that it could be an allignment problem. But the allignment is fine as far as I know. Is there anything in the car that keeps it level? Or do you think I'll have to install stronger springs? I have stock springs in it now. There's nothing heavy inside the car. And I'm not heavy either. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

you could have busted shock and worn out spring.

You said you changed out the front shocks and springs, maybe it's time to do the rears as well.

my 93 dx coupe has the same prob. , I installed new monroe stock struts and it did not go away. I have eibach sportline integra springs, spc camber kit front and rear , energy susp. bushings master kit , new tie rods , I dont know what to do next, I asked the guy who does my alignment and he said its perfectly aligned . I measured and the driver side measures 1 cm lower in the front and 1.5cm lower in the rear. maybe I need some better aftermarket struts.

It is not a problem...

It is a NORMAL thing for Civic... the car leans because majority of time only drivers side is under pressure...

That's why...

I see that happen to much much more expensive cars like VW Passat and BMW 5-series... what do you expect from a tiny Honda?

I must say that I haven't seen a Honda that doesn't lean on the drivers side... of course some lean more and some less, but the issue is there...

yeh i don't believe that it is the drivers fat *** that is wrecking your car. those years are known for that problem, it is prolly a bad strut, go and replace all 4 and save yourself a hassel.

Get coilovers on there and adjust them where the car is level. I have my pass side like 1/2" lower so when I get in it might not look like the drivers is lower.

struts are probly fine, just a weight distribt. problem, after 12 years of more weight on the drivers side it'll do that
its avery common problem "honda pimp sag"
or "honda gangsta lean"
