Anyone have a spare set of eye-bolts they can sell me, ASAP?
The funny thing is, I had a set of eye-bolts that I traded for shorter ones because I was using the OEM seat belt mount and I needed the shorties. Well, now the OEM seats are out and I'm wishing I had the long ones again because the shorties won't work in the exhaust tunnel. As it is right now, I have to keep changing seats so that I can use the seatbelt. I need some new bolts ASAP. Does anyone have an extra pair laying around. If not, I think RW should be able to get them to me soon, but I'm trying here first. Thanks!
I still have the long ones you sent me in a box around here somewhere! Are you going to the NASA event this weekend @ Firebird? Or ASRA next weekend @ PIR?
Cheers,
Nick

If you still have my old bolts, I will gladly buy them from you. I hesitate to trade back, however, since I like having the shorter ones on the OEM seats just in case. I can't make NASA this weekend since I'll still be working on getting the seats/harnesses taken care of. PIR might happen. What date is that? My goal was to be done in time for Sierra Vista on the 20th (I think, I've completely lost track of dates). Still, if you can round up those bolts (since I know they're just right) I'll take 'em right now.
You might try giving these guys a call...
Metric and Multistandard - if it is metric and it has threads they most likely have it.
http://www.metricmcc.com
The key here is you need the size and tread pitch your looking for possibly the threaded length and the eye size. They will most likely have something close.
You probably looking for a "lifting eye"
I hope this helps! Good luck!

Okay, first off, thank you to everyone who offered a direction for finding these. However, I now need some more information in light of my recent efforts. I seems that most places are carrying the "new" shorter eye-bolts, that wound up being perfect for my seat mount, but way too short for the body lap belt mount. What I need, and don't have a way to find, is the older version that is a little longer and gold in color. The short ones I have are gold, and they are supposed to be new, and racerwholesale.com now says that all their bolts are short and silver. Frankly, the color is only a concern in that I KNOW that the long gold ones fit where I want them to (my only long set has now been relocated to the exhaust tunnel). Does anyone know where I can get my hands on these bolts, hopefully before the 20th? If you have some in hand, or know where I can order some, I'll take 'em! Thanks!

Here is a pic of what I'm talking about:
The head looks exactly like this, and the threaded part is just a little longer (by like an inch or so, I don't have the exact dimensions). Mine are also a faded gold color, not sliver, but a bolt's a bolt if it's the same thread. The thread matches the thread of that long *** bolt that holds the OEM seatbelt by the door. I'll let you guys know where I find them in case anyone else is looking. Thanks for the help.
Travis,
I found a set of long bolts(no nuts) in the garage, unfortunately they are used so the threads are a bit sandblasted. I'm sure a die would clean them up. Let me know, Free! Just pay the shipping.

BSR Racing (down the road) has the "Simpson" "floor mounting kit" in stock for $14-$15 for 2 (bolts/washers/nuts).
The floor kit looks JUST like the picture (dusty gold) but the threaded section is ~2-2-1/2" long.
No pics on the site... but a cool intro non-the-less.

To everyone else, thank you so much for the help. I think I have enough options now that I should be able to find what I need. Jeez, it shouldn't be this difficult
I'm looking for the same thing...just called simpson, they sell an eyebolt that has a 1.5 inch shank, that's the longest they have...he said it's all they've ever had. Is there a longer one on the planet that's somewhat easy to find? Could someone measure one of their "long" ones for sure? Thanks!
