Here's a few...the rest are still being uploaded (1GB takes a looong time to upload).
F-15 Eagle from the Air National Guard at Klamath Falls, Oregon.

The Import Legend

The Miata Killer (E2, where it's not all Miatas)

Memo Gidley (one of my favorite drivers) was a co-driver in this backfiring Camaro.

Team Crazy Redhead's #18 Porsche 911 won overall. I think the TL won the E0 class and was third overall?

Memo Gidley

Richie Hearn

Ryan Flaherty putting the powers of Chairman to good use.

John Tecce looks on, probably wishing he was a Chairman (because a New York booty call is just a call when you're out in Cali).

Bell also makes insulated beer carriers.

Thanks for the pic of the #71 car.
Could you entitle my pic the 'Miata Killer"? It was killing me that the announcer was calling E2, "the Spec Miata class" even though we were leading. IIRC, he even mentioned that again after we won the class.

I captioned the pic.
I have a lot more pics of the #71 car because I'm pretty partial to 5G Civic coupes! I'll post more after work!

Sweet!
I would love to see (& possibly get?) any pics that you have.
I basically brought a extra car to the track in spares but couldn't remember to bring a camera.

kinda OT but the rain held out just long enough, at about 12:30 the rain came up here and just kept come and is still going good windy as heck too
Just a few photos. Here goes our bandwidth...

Before the start. The F15 flyover was pretty amazing. Basically the jet came over low, hit the afterburner and pulled into a vertical climb. Doug heard the air force guy mutter 'that's what you get when the brass is not present'.

A radical mini. Note the 'nerf' bars. Had problems with hubs I think.

The 5 Zigen/Endless car before the start.

The 1st place porsche.

The 2nd place porsche. Actually had carpet on the inside!

The 3rd place TL. Stock engine, really well prepared and organized team. Was chasing down the 2nd place porsche at the finish.

The mess of wiring that is in the Endless car.

The TL captured at the finish. The image is blurred because the car is hauling *** when the photo was taken.

The Endless team at the finish.
Sorry, no photos of the 'miata killer' nor the WC civic.
Overall it was a good event - the weather was kind, there was not much contact and the event ran fairly smoothly. A number of teams were incorrectly penalized for yellow passing, which I'd put down to car identification mixups from the people reporting such incidents.
I escaped doing any work at all until Sunday morning, when I tried to help sort out the 5 Zigen/Endless car's misfire problems. The driving lights were wired directly into the battery via the starter, unfused, and were shorting to the body, which resulted in a unhappy battery and a major dead engine every time the lights shorted out. We fixed the light wiring but I think the ECU or ignitor was damaged by then, and the car never ran anywhere near its potential. Sam - you need to sort out the wiring. Junk the 2 factory fuse boxes cable tied to the floor. Don't even use fuses - use auto resetting circuit breakers. Don't let the main relay flop around on the floor - it needs to be vibration isolated.
Andy Hope drove from 1 am to 7:15 am with just 3 20 minute breaks while the wiring was fixed. That's a lot of driving at night with a badly misfiring car ....

And I thought Andy's tailbone was sore because of Johnny Mac!

I didn't do it, as Andy's slept in someone else's Motel 6 room. Did Tecce complain of a sore tailbone? I haven't been blackmailed yet so I don't think there are any revealing photos.
