Did my DA front brake swap tonight...
Ok after much reading/research I finally decided to pick up some 90-93 DA knuckles and calipers at the junkyard today. After purchasing new rotors and pads I proceeded to do the swap and everything went really smoothly. For all who were concerned with caster/camber issues I am lowered on H&R race springs (2 1/4" drop) and after the DA brake swap visually my wheel/tire sits perfectly. I used my upper crx A-arms and retained my crx lower control arms. No knocking sounds or anything like that happend and braking is much improved with the 40.40 prop valve and prelude MC. So for anyone concered with any issues I hope this clears up a few things. Also your stock crx brake lines fit perfectly. Hope this information can help someone
The rotors are 10.3" as your stocks are 9.5" and yes DA calipers bolt right up to DA knuckes...
And I hear with the 90-93 DA knuckles that any 94+integra calipers bolt up if thats what you meant to ask. As for piston diameter I dont know but the DA calipers/pads are MUCH beefier than the puny crx ones

I was told HF brakes are smaller then the DX and Si brakes.

I also run DA Brakes ( bought car with knuckles so havent driven it yet )
Anyone know if the 94+ calipers / rotors are bigger? I hear there a direct
bolt on to the DA Knuckles.

Welcome to the club!
I am not sure if the 94 teg calipers are bigger, but you can use them on the DA knuckles cause that's what I'm doing.

I think the hub is a diff size, the hf has smaller axle diameter, but I think the disc brake is the same size (I think thats how it is)

To the person who asked ^ the prelude MC that i used was the 89 prelude same as accord LXI and is 15/16". No it does not push more fluid than the 90-93 integra MC but its a direct bolt on unlike the integra MC which you also need the integra booster as well.

I Should have elaborated I ment more fluid than a civic MC. Thanks for the info. After 330k my civic needs a new MC and I was about to purchase a teg MC but if an 89 prelude is a direct replacement that will make it much easier. Do you happen to know the size of a stock civic si MC?

I believe the HF calipers are identical but the actual disc is thinner.

I think an Si one is the same size as a Dx. You can also use a Honda EX Sedan MC(15/16) which is also a direct bolt on but harder to come by. I used an 89 accord lxi(15/16) one - got it at the junk for $20 bucks(direct bolt on also).
I also did the DA swap when I put my project together - I also posted about it so my thread should be floating somewhere around in Honda-Tech. Here is the deal with my setup: I'm running CRX Si rims which are 14's
- sleeper style.
Good Day,
