Default K20a2 Long block, Type S

K20 type S long block.

I got it from a dealership that came in as a over rev.
It is perfect for anyone looking to build a extra
setup for the coming season.

If you look at the pic, what you see is what you get.

$1200 or Best offer.

Thanks

Looks like a good block.

How many miles on the block to?
There was a guy on ebay selling a K20 block for about $1000. It had 30k miles on it and from the looks of the top of the pistons the guy blew a head gasket. There seems to be a great deal of problems on K20 blocks where the motors blow. I wouldn't touch these blocks with a ten foot pole fellas.

I dont have a receipt, but I got it from a dealership mechanic.

The block still has the vin on it and its good.

The main problem that people have with K20's is
that it has a 6 speed trans. People miss down shift,
rev the motor too high and spin the bearings.

other than that, they are great motors.

R u kidding me... the k series motors are fairly strong motors, but when they or any other motor are put into the hands of idiots then of course the worst can and will happen.

Yeah, the K series are incredible motors. Anyone who does not think they are can go over to CRSX and check the new cams that are coming out that use stock valve springs and have made 227 whp SAE corrected on a dynojet with the stock block and bolt on parts.

It is absurd for anyone to think any different. The K series takes the genius behind the B series and steps it up a notch.

Here is a bump for another K20A2 finding its way into someone's hands.
