CRX LEAks, where were your leaks and how did you fix? give info for others!
I had a leak and well have them again. Mine come down from the plastic at the hatch struts. u can see where it comes from but where it enters is unknown. Also the speakers leaking. i took the factory plastic off behind the door panels to fix my window regulator and since they leaked so i got big plastic bags and taped them in and seem ok but SOMETIMES it will leak...im thinking about covering the back of the speakers with plastic as well..
Any idea on the strut leaks? i dont think its the hatch seal. put some idea cause i know alot of people have these probs and cant find them and i know some of you have so if you would like to give info and pics thatd be great!

I have the hatch strut leak too, and I haven't tried to fix it yet. Most people agree that the water enters from the body seals on the top of the roof, under the plastic moldings on the top, and around the hatch. Sealing those seams appears to fix that problem for most people, there's a few threads on this.
For the speakers, make sure the drain holes in the bottom of the door aren't clogged with junk. Otherwise the water will fill up the door.

hmm the body seals? i think i know what ur talking about there is a hatch seal and i think the seal ur ralking aout is if you were sitting in the car and looked back at the triagle moldings above them u can see a seal right? never checked that.
It's not a rubber seal, it's the seam where the body panels were welded at the factory. A seal is applied and it's painted. After many moons, the seam sealer dries out and cracks, and just a tiny crack can let in a lot of water. If you open the hatch and look at the top corners, you'll see what I'm talking about. There are seams that lead from under the black moldings on the top of the car.
I've seen 2 links in the FAQs that might help:
One was for how to put new sealant in the top joint of the lift-gate.
The other was for clearing out the sunroof drainage tubes.

LOL i found it before then ok i was right...yea mine isnt even really cracked but i was looking in the gutter and putting water there and it was coming in i was like there is no way its coming from that hatch seal so i glued that crease shut and it stopped..guess its just wearing down..SWEET! i was right then ok thanks. And the speakers what if i put new thick plastic there with some liquid nails and actually put the plastic over the back of the speakers too?
