Anyone know how to get that John Brown tranny part?
Apparently,
John Brown invented something to remove 5th gear and put in place of it a billet connecting piece to keep the input shaft and counter shift from splitting the tranny apart. This is obviously for the B-series trannies. I also need to know the inside scoop on how much the Liberty setup is... that JJ Olson is using. I heard these two items are the setup in B series trannies. Pricing would be good too.

Ron, you have a machinist on your team. Just have him make the thing.. How hard can it be? If JB can figure it out, then anyone can... J/K John But seriously. Vince has what it takes to measure it, if not, bring it to me. We just got a CMM and can measure it down to six decimal places. Not that you need it that far..Call me and let me know..
We got this Protoge that was all built by JIC brand new. Carbon door and all the works. They just did'nt race it. Sav took it for a two runs at Battle of the Imports in Bakersfield. Thats about it. We have four race cars and have room for only three so I gotta get rid of one.

I should be able to get the Liberty gear setup. My father owns a transmission business and has been a dealer for Liberty for well over 20 years now. Unfortunately he is so busy with domestic builds he doesnt even touch the import fwd stuff. If you are interested please email me for pricing.
I just want that car running and in good shape. I hate cars sittin in my garage that are not runnin. I got two show cars that gotta run as well as the CRX and the all motor car. Not to be a dick because I try to stay as neutral as possible when it comes to these dramatic HT threads...
But whatever happened to supporting the people that come out with innovative products at a competitive price? How did you guys feel when everyone started copying your block guard and undercutting your costs?
John's just like one of you and me, a business man trying to make a dollar out of a dime, I find it bad karma to make the post you did.
