I'l be there if I can arrange that Friday off. Funny, every other redline event, Roy is the first on the sign up list. No wonder he's so fast... gets lots of practice.

 

Yup, if Roy is going to be there, he's always the first one signed up. I guess he like to get his spot early so he doesn't have to worry about it until he goes to the track. Maybe he should get prize or something for always being number 1!

Fridays aren't that bad. I mean, they are much cheaper then a weekend event and they are never as crowed as a weekend event. People sometimes get over 3 hours of track time at our Friday events at SOW. It's the next best thing to a weekend track event. I know a lot of people are telling me they are out of sick days, but hey -- you want work your life away, or have fun?

Funny how work is getting in the way of having fun these days isn't it.

 

I''ll be looking forward to coming to an event in the near future as my integra is starting to take shape. Finally have the suspension done, but still need to figure out if I can get rid of the steering wheel shake at speed.

 

Anyone else gonna come to this event?

How about the Hook up price of the last two events?

 

We have secured one weekend event so far at Button Willow Raceway for 2005 and we are waiting to hear back from Willow Springs on our 2005 schedule with them. We will have several weekends next year at various tracks and our usual Friday Open Track Days as well.

Had a really good time last event... on Nov19th, I highly recommend the friday events, they are loose and open.

Hey if I always just ditched work and went to your track days when I lost my job I wouldnt be able to come anymore. If you give me free track time and make up for the $200 I would have made I would love to come to friday events.

I know, I know. We all have to work to pay the bills and have fun. I was just saying that many of us in the work force these days tend to overwork ourselves and forget the reason we're all working the first place, you know what I mean? I think we work to much. I work cause I need money, but I always try to remember that I work to make ends meat, and not live for work.
But on another note, what do you do to make 2 bills a day? Can I have a job?

ill be out there on the 17th w/ a couple friends. hopefully ill have the GSR brakes installed by then and the ITR tranny rebuilt. ive been looking forward to running since i couldnt make the nov. event.

 

I'll be there on the 17th as well in my 96 GS-R. I'm also bringing my friend with a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS with Prodrive P1 suspension. My business partner may bring his 944 turbo as well... if it runs...

You could always take the High performance driving class that is offered!

 

The three of us will be signing up this week... don't cancel.

I'll post in the porsche forum Rennlist to see if I can build interest there. maybe some price incentives will help raise attendee #'s.

I think we'll be fine. We only need about 10 more people.
I don't think we'll need to cancel.
We've never had to cancel a Friday at the streets in over
three years, and I don't plan on canceling any time soon.
