Default M2B4 Tranny Identification

I purchased a H22a swap that included a M2B4 tranny, however the bar code/tranny ID sticker is damaged/unreadable. So I'd like to know what other things can be used to determine if it is in fact a M2B4 Honda LSD tranny? The tranny casting has PX5-2 at two locations and then in the octagonal shapes (come in sets of three) one set has 10 24 1S, while the other set is 10 23 S2.

I plan on selling it, because I have a M2A4 with a Quaife, but I want to make sure it is what it is before I sell it.

That's what I originally thought, but I've been told the Honda LSD's still have the spindle, like non lsd's.

I had a factory h22 lsd tranny and you should be able to see through the axle hole if it is a true lsd.

Looks like I was ripped off then, because I can see the spindle. Thanks for the help.

This is what my M2B4 looks like...

Note: the yellow piece is just the cap on the other side...

sorry brother but you got lied to, a true H22 trans should have a P16 on the casing this true for LSD or non-LSD. h23's and f22's and f23's have the PX5.

Depends if I get off my *** and fix a 5th gen tranny I have lying around... then I would get a Quaife LSD unit.
