so I'm putting a manual intake manifold onto my d16y8 which was an auto, but is now a manual. I'm running the right ecu and everything.
I'm pulling out the auto intake manifold and the bracket on the back is stopping me from taking it entirely out. Should I just remove that large black bracket or is there something else I can do to manuever the IM out?
Thanks

I swapped manifolds before. The bracket really isnt that hard to get off. Get a short socket, get it back there (you should be on the left side of the engine bay), feel around for the bolts and if you need, get the socket on the bolt before the wrench. Its a lil bit of a pain, but very do-able. Ive done it, trust me.

Exactly... It took me a few minutes, and it was kind of a bitch, but this is exactly what I did.
