Default b18b1 club. if you have a 92-95 civic with the LS swap. come in!

I want to get a thread that has everyone that has done the swap. It will help get some information, and maybe help people down the road when they go to do the swap. If you could post so information that you think might help that be great. I am going to get some of my pics of my swap loaded on here. If you'd like do the same. Also i am curious what kind of time slips you are getting out of your civic(turbo or just motor). If any of you have dyno'ed your car that be great to. Thanks!!!

i have a b18b1 (usdm y0!) but i'm gonna go LS/vtec instead of boost. next steps include: type-argh tranny, b16a head and p30 pistons (from my old motor), some nice cams and valvetrain. hopefully 200whp when tuned.

I think my motor is pretty strong for an LS. My best run was last year i ran a 15.02 with intake and exhaust and a b16 tranny in a 92 cx. Since then i have gotten my cams reground, header, took out my cat and got a new clutch. So im pretty sure im in the 14.6-14.8 range. I also have a 75 shot Zex on it and it handles it like a champ. With the N20 i think i'll be around a low-mid 13. Pretty fast

B18a w/ b16 tranny was my first motor setup. I gave it my brother to be built and turbo COMING SOON ...i moved on to better things. It was great for daily driving.

I am working on my project right now. It is a 92 civic hb, i am putting a b18b1 with a GSR tranny. Stage 2 Exedy with a Light flywheel. I am stuck right now, i thought i had someone lined up for parts, but they ended up being the wrong year I hope i have it done by next week. I am turboing in the spring so i am have a shop put 3" exhaust on with a high flow cat and a flowmaster muffler. I put a brand new head gasket, oil pan, valve cover, rear main seal, and timing belt.

everyone keep on posting

Just picked up a '92 CX hatch with a B18B to replace the R. No times yet, though I'm not expecting much. It'll be a track ***** for the most part, although I'll probably make a trip to the strip once or twice. As far as track goodies go, it'll have Buddy Club RSDs, ITR rear sway, GSR front sway, RS MC and booster (which feels really great, for anyone who's considering it), Teg brakes front and rear. By early next year there'll be a rollbar and my Sparcos. So far I really like it. The brake changes are probably the biggest difference between any of the other Civics I've driven.

I have a 93'dx (hatch) with a 97' LS (check the sig.). I/H/E, gutted interior.
My best is a 15.1. Average run is about 15.5 I'd say. Not bad for my daily-driver. Still puts a smile on my face.
LS/Vtec this winter.

Out of curiousity, and not to criticize, mwie, you have in your sig "My 4 beat your 8? What happened?"

Since when is a 15.1 beating a V8?

Damn-near eveyday around my area. Just b/c its a V8 doesnt mean they know how to drive. right. right.
And it also depends-on what they are driving. I dont claim to beat all V8's. Most mustangs=yes. Most camero's=no.
Like I said. It is fast enough to make me smile.

I have had a 93 DX hatch with a LS swap and a 93 GSR YS1 tranny that ren pretty good

it ran a 2.0 60' and a 9.1 in the 1/8 mile

I put the same setup in a Del Sol and it ran a 9.3 with a 2.1 60'

I guess my tires were loosing their life or something. I was running a STOCK LS with a half assed exhaust and a DC sports header with Kuhmo 711's

I guess I am just a decent driver
