Default 90 Accord 'correct' temperature gauge position?? pic included

My 90 Accord temperature gauge needle sits just above half way when the engine has warmed up and never seems to move... it's been this way since I've had the car. is this normal?? I've changed the sensor on the engine but it's still the same. when it's cold it's at C but after 5 - 10 mins up it goes and stays where its at in the pic. I was gonna change the gauge but don't want to if it's 'normal'. Thanks for any answers you can give.

yep thats fine, mines there all day, the guage is kinda tilted up, dont worry about it, u need gas tho

EDIT: if it ever goes all the way to hot, ur screwed that most likley means ur cars about to over heat, its exactly where it should be
