Default B-series Dizzy questions

I just found out I have an LS dizzy on my B18C swap. My question is, are the dizzy's the same or close enough to not be causing my engine misfire?

I think it would cause the misfire and do you even get spark? Are you sure you have the LS dizzy and do you have the dizzy number?

the dizzy are not the same, if you have a vtec motor with a ls dizzy on you have to hack off one of the legs to make it fit. it will work like this but most will say that you can not adjust the dizzy. this is how i ran on my 1st b16 swap on my crx for over a year then got a jdm b16 obd0 dizzy. i had no misfire or problems with this.

Yes I get spark, in fact I have been driving it around for about 6-months.

I went to the autoparts store for a cap and rotor and the cap did not fit. But the non-vtec cap fit perfectly. I bought the dizzy from locashracing so I have no clue what they did about the post problem( but it has three mounting posts).

Anyone else know if the Dizzy is the cause of my problems?
