I have the chance to get my hands on a S2000 Steering Wheel. Does anybody know if it will bolt on directly on to my 97 accord steerin column. Thanks for any help.

So I just remove the 2 star screws/bolts on the sides remove the stock wheel put the s2000 one on and screw in the star screw/bolts and thats all? I don't have to modify anything? Thanks for the reply.
yeah, just take everything off and then take out airbag, the splines are the same for your car and the wheel. it should just slide on. it should also be noted that this mod would work for only the 96-97accords as the splines are different on the 94-95

What about the horn? The accord wheel has two buttons. The s2000 wheel is a center pressure horn button. Will it still work? The horn and "everybody's favorite finger"
kinda go hand and hand...

about the horn, i know on my car it was difficult to get horn to work when i changed to an aftermarket steering wheel. if you have ever seen the way it is wired up, it is not just standard wires, it is all enclosed in a "ribbon" looking thing. i know my horn would not unless i plugged my cruise contol module and clockspring in, so i had to tuck it under the dash. i always thought the best way to do would be to just to wire straight from the actual horn to the button.

it just plugs right up. horn works fine.

oh yeah, i forgot since i was changing to an aftermarket when i went through all that and not using an oem wheel.

So what would it take to get it to go on a '95? I'm guessing I'd have to swap out the steering column (the splined part) at the steering rack...????

What would it take to get the airbag and cruise control to work? Can't you just change the plugs on the end?
