Has anyone ever modded a SiR 96-98 front lip to a EG. The lip in question:

I know the lip is discontinued but i have a funny way of finding stuff out of the blue. If so, how complicated is it?? Any info will work.

 

That looks like a 92-95 civic lip modded onto a 96-98

 

the only different I see is the 96-98 lip stick out a tad more then the Eg lip so.. as for modifying what the point!!??

does it look like there is a big gap between the hood and the grill??? or is it just me...


lip doesnt look bad, u could probably do it

think its cause of the black grill (needs to be painted) but i agree you could probably do it

 

don't think it's ever been done, but I have been thinking about it myself.

I actually tried photoshopping it onto an EG,
but it was hard because I think the two bumpers really are shaped fairly different.

So if it makes it hard just to photoshop it, think about actually getting it to work.

I'm pretty sure some heating up/bending of the lip would be required for it to not look like **** !

 

btw, is anyone else sick of ******* crooked *** photo's?

Just take it straight! making it crooked isn't all that!

Very close to an oem lip but i like the slight angle. The EG6 JDM bumpers from jdmshit.com here

are the oem lips like the top black 4 door and the red 2 door bumper covers. The bottom 2 door black bumper cover is closer to the SiR lip to me with the angle. Mine goes straight down. Is the JDM oem EG 2 door front lip different from the USDM?

all the eg front bumpers, JDM or USDM or 4 door or 3door or 2 door or whatever,
where the lip mounts is shaped the same.

 

So my best bet is to get a new oem lip and hope the wife does not curb it again. Thanks for the info. Later

 

safest bet i'd say

just don't count on the wife!

 

if u have the black front lip then i'd say leave the grill unpainted, get black rims, and make ur skirts black. but thats just me
