Default H-brace reviews

Does anyone have any experience with the H-brace you install on the front bottom of your car? I'm thinking about getting one but I'm not sure if there is an improvement. I think the brace is probably as useful as a floor brace. I don't know. Any comments? thanks

I saw a improvement, Only cons on this is that it sits really low, and also you may have Header clearence issues. I had to cut a section of it out for my header to match up with the rest off my exhaust. Also install is a bt of a pain because it is a bit smaller then needed, but i guess thats to tighten up the front end.

Ebay ( ) one worked great for me. You feel the most improvement at highway speeds, especially in passing manuevers. They connect both LCAs to the floor member, so going over those small speed bumps are real noisy. You might have clearence issue with cat too depending on your setup. Mine fit tight, but enough headroom to not rattle anything. Installation was easier than I had read it was.
Thank the lord for spell check, because these margaritas are tasty. :

I also have the ebay one. Some people on here say it is cheap and is not worth the money. But i have ran over things and gone off roading, and it has one small ding in it and a couple of scratches. Not bad for 50 buxs

So do you guys think this is a worthy part? I have a HiTech header, think there will be any clearance issues? The cat starts where the stock one would have ended (the header is a long tube). They're going for like 25.00 with like 19.00 s&h on http://www.ebay.com. They look exactly like the MeganRacing h-brace and have the same description.

I would like to know how the handling differs. I can imagine there would be crazy understeer with those things..

What makes you think it would increase understeer? As a brace, I'll bet it has minimal affect on under/oversteer. A big front sway bar on the other hand would increase understeer.

You notice the improvement at 65+ MPH in handling- the car seems to glide along without any corrections to the steering wheel. In idle my interior vibrates more. Tires are easy to spin too in launch.
