Default Which arm rest is this??

I bought this arm rest from a buddy of mine who said it was for a CRX. Although he said he never installed it, I took his word for it and bought it without seeing it. What do you know - it doesn't fit.

So the question is, what does it fit?

I hope this picture works.

By the way, it's for sale when somebody figures out what it is. I'll put it in the classifieds as soon as I know.

Does it bolt in at one place, but the back end sticks up? If it does it might be a DA.

I honestly don't know how it is supposed to install. I mean, there are 4 screw holes, and when I got it, it came with two metal brackets, but I could only figure out how one of them would attach. Anyway, it doesn't fit a CRX because the opening in the front doesn't fit over the e-brake piece. Not even close. It would take a fair amount of cutting to make it fit, and a damn lot of luck to make it fit right.

I had the same issue with e DA arm rest, this was a while ago and I forget what it looked like so it might be a DA, but I wont say for sure.

If it helps any, here is a side view, and a pic of the brackets that came with it.

The goldish one definitely fits between the rear screw holes on the armrest, but the silver one doesn't seem to fit anywhere, and could be junk for all i know.

Also, the plastic is blue, if that helps to narrow anything down.

but they also had blue interior in EG's, the CX for example. But that does not look like a EG armrest, looks like a DA.

ok, somebody requested a pic from the back, so here ya go. Notice the rear ash tray. dead giveaway that it's not from a crx, unless it would be true jdm, which is highly doubtful, but damn cool if it could be.

That looks like the one that I have on my 90 DX HB.... Yes it came with one and if you take the civic HB center and put it in the CRX it will fit on there. Good Luck

I wondered if it might fit a hb. Any chance you could get a pic of where your arm rest meets the console?

If I had a camera I would man But someone needed it worse than I did.. But like I said that looks like the one thats in my 90HB and if you get the center (where the E-brake is at) from the HB you can use the console, and yes you do need the brakets.

LOL...that's for dang sure.

I think half the people on H-T just guess when answering a question.

The EG+ Civic looks NOTHING like that.

My best guess would be 88-91 Prelude as crxgator suggested. Or possibly DA Integra.

The 88-91 Civic/CRX armrest are the same. So it wouldn't NOT fit the CRX but fit the Civic Hatchback.
