Will las from a eg fit an ek with no problem

No, the EG LCA is thicker. If it was the other way around you could use washers.

i have seem people shave off a small amount on both sides of the lca to make them fit. it is a snug fit, you need to bump them up with a hammer and lube them, but they have not had any problems.
