The dealer is selling a Type R with a Sun roof and A/C, i'm just wondering if its a real Type R or not, since real type R doesn't have sun roof or A/C.

Or did the previous owner just custom added a sunroof and a/c

 

When I had my R, it had A/C and a moonroof.

I thought I was the only one who had those two options from the factory.

 

My R has air conditioning and I heard that some dealers offered the moon roof option for the R. It is hard to tell but if the vin was available, then I would know for sure.

I really doubt the dealer would go through the trouble of swapping over to a 5-lug conversion. A/C was an option. Moon-roof have been retro-fitted as I don't recall any 97-98 ITR's ever having that option.

Most canadian dealerships offered moonroofs as an option from 99+

 

as long as the block says B18c5 I wouldn't sweat anything else. Do a search find a list of all the differences between ITR and non-ITRs and then my son u will know. If it meets all of those difference why would u care if it was a conversion? For argument sake it is an ITR. But I HIGHLY HIGHY doubt anyone would spend the money on the internals of the car to turn it in to an ITR. It's one thing to get an ITR wing and do the 5 bolt conversion its another to get the right engine and everything else under the hood............. it's just not worth it.
