92 eg hatch w/ gsr hatch in Wisconsin. $6000 O.B.O. pics and movies included. 56k beware
OK, im making another thread for my car, because there was confusion about if my car was running or not, so here goes: To make a long story short, my car had a 00 gsr motor for about 2 years, in its quest to bore its self, it blew. The car was my daily diver, so i had to buy a new car to get to work and school, so i need money to pay off my new car. I tried selling my car as a shell, but it didn't work, so i made a trade and got my hand on a new complete gsr motor. So that is in the car and running now, everything is good.

Its a rebuilt 95 gsr, i traded all sensors off my old 00 block, and converted this to a obd-2 motor. (the old blown block is gone) The only reason i converted it to obd-2, is so that my wire harness would still work. Im running a obd-1 ecu, so some sensors i did not need to put on(crank sensor, and the second 02 sensor. The motor still has all the same add on's as i had, which is a 6 puck clutch and toda flywheel, skunk 2 intake manifold, 4-1 header, the axles and upper drivers side mount are life time warrenty, and are brand new, the axles still have te stickers on it.
When i got this motor, i put a new timing belt on, did a valve adjustment(becasue b16 cams were installed) The block was steam cleaned, and everything is nice and clean under the hood. I used to have a itr tranny, but i traded that in the deal to get the new motor, so this motor has a gsr tranny, which grinds in third at higher rpms. I will be giving he stock gsr manifold and a obd-1 dizzy with the sale.

The body can use some help, as its all original from 92, original paint and everything(even still has the pin stripe) the problems include some rust on both sides of the rear corner panels. (most all honda's get this) Just remember the body and paint are 12 years old. I use this car as my daily driver, and i like the sleeper look. There is a dent on the front fender from where my buddies lean on my car, and there is a litle dent on the bottom of the drivers door. those are the only dents on he car. I do not want to lie about anything, i hope i describe everything as best as i can. I do not want to sell a car to someone withotu telling them everything wrong with the car, please look the pictures to judge for yourself. The interior is very clean, new 98 civic seats are in it, and i will include the 98 civic rear seats also. there used to be a fiber glassed system in the rear, so the the rear hatch carpet was cut for that, but is an easy fix. there also were tweeters up front in the doors, but not anymore, so there is a spot for tweeters if anyone wants to put them in, and its a spot for tweeters, not a hole or anything bad like that.
The car has been in our family since we bought it brand new. My mom drove it to work and back every day, and once i turned 21, i bought it from my parents. I am now 22, and i have had this car for like 6 years. We have been though a lot, I will miss my eg. I do have a carfax of the entire car for anyone, im just not going to post it, as it is very long. The only accident the car has been in, is it hit a deer a while back, the only damage was the hood. Im am looking for money to pay of my new car, and then hopfully buy a f20b motor to drop into my new car. I will trade my car for a sweet motor for my new car, plus $3000. Im am putting a $6000 O.B.O. on the car. Shot me some offers/trades, i will look at every offer seriously-even low ballers

no, im sorry, but im not gonna part out my car, and i don't see my self needing a a d series motor any time soon, as once i get money, i will be swaping a motor into my 98 civic, so i will have my own d series motor laying around. thank you for the bump though.

Thank you for the bumps guys. I just wanted to say that my car will be sold with the stock VX aluminum rims that you see in the last picture. they are 13" rims, with brand new tires, these are my winter tires, and since itsn't almost winter, i am selling the car with winter tires on it. Also, the car is being sold with the stock tail lights in it.

well, the b16 cams are pretty much the same, if not a little better. If your thinking about the first gen b16 cams, yeah, those cams suck, but i have much newer b16 cams, which are just a little better. Why i did this, becasue i sold my gsr cams to rob on here when my old motor blew, and when i got my new block and head, i had to get cams when i put it all back together, and i got my hands on some cheap b16 cams. But you say that $4k is too rich for your blood? DAMN, good thing you didn't read my title(it says $6k OBO.) hahaha
I used to have a $4000 price on it, but that was with the blown motor. Now its rebuilt and running perfect again, can be anyones daily driver for $6000 OBO. thanx for the bump though

If your thinking about the first gen b16 cams, yeah, those cams suck, but i have much newer b16 cams, which are just a little better. Why i did this, becasue i sold my gsr cams to rob on here when my old motor blew, and when i got my new block and head, i had to get cams when i put it all back together, and i got my hands on some cheap b16 cams. Sounds to me like you just rebuilt the blown motor...what, did the new motor come without cams? And that is why there is B16 cams in there? $6k for a dented/riced eg with a swap = absolutely ******* ridiculous! Yes I am an ******* and good luck with the sale!

This 95 GSr motor used to be in my hatch and it is in very good condition, still ran perfect when I pulled it out. The only reason I traded with Matt was I needed an ITR tranny and he gave me his old blown GSR which I Plan on rebuilding someday. Some of you may be asking why would you pull a perfectly good gsr out of a good hatch and trade it for a blown gsr motor? I'll tell you, I have a 400 HP Vortech charged b16 running 22 psi of boost that I am dropping in and like I said I got his old JDM ITR tranny and a blown gsr that I can rebuild someday. I have the compression test numbers on this block from 10/03 and will post soon but I talked to Matt the other day and he said he will be testing soon. He is a very legit guy and I would not only vouch for him but encourage anyone looking for a good deal on a car to buy his car. I payed 5k for my hatch and it is not even in half the condition his is and it had just a stock gsr in it, while Matt's has a skunk2 manifold, intake, headers, exhaust, and block has all been steamcleaned so you can eat off it, not literally! Im not ridiculeing anyone, im just mentioning that my price if not even set at $4000, its set at $6000, OBO. and remember, its OR BEST OFFER. If your really interested in my car, say a offer thats reasonable.
And ill show you pictures of my blown block, no way could i even rebuild it. So i was looking for a new block and head. and at the time i did not need cams, but while i waited to pick up my new motor from jon, i sold my gsr cams to get gas money. (AND JON ALREADY HAD B16 CAMS FOR ME TO PUT IN THE MOTOR!) so i sold the gsr cams, and used the b16 cams. no big deal. so no, i did not rebuild my blown motor. I did take a compression test of the motor, and they are all at 180, i will post pictures of the compression readings when i upload them. I am not going to ridicule anyones price. Im just trying to get some money out of my car with out being low balled, or getting offers to trade cars.

What is riced about my car??? the stock tail lights have been on the car for a while, and everything is stock, even rims. no rice. and ill show you pictures of my rebuilt motor, no way in hell could i rebuild it with out spending tons of $$. and it has one dent in the fender from someone leaning on it, its not all dented up. The body and paint are all original from 92, pretty damn good if you ask me (and remember, i live in WI, we do have winters here) and i bought a new block, AND a new head, and put the b16 cams in it, its not like i went out and got a whole new gsr swap, casue all i needed was a block and head. Think about it. And why is $6000 a high price????
