I read the same recommendation to just use replacement OE uppers.
Anybody have any personal experience (besides that they squeek)?

They all work fine, just DO NOT, and I mean, DO NOT use the FRONT Lower Control Arm Inner Energy Suspension Bushing.. It will wear out in a matter of weeks. The rear ES LCA Bushing is fine to use..
all you need is the top hat bushings, and I have them and they dont squeek at all. Been about a year and no problems so far

so the rest of the ES bushings are fine to use? how about the rear trailing arm ones? i heard you should use OEM on them too.

ttt i have a question. can you install the new lca bushings yourself or do they have to be pressed in or something?
I'm pretty much looking for like-new stiffness and i'm not trying to set up a stiff suspension here, i just want newer bushings. Would i be alright with a stock set? thanks

I read a write-up in which the old bushings were cut/torched out and the new ones were squeezed in with a vise. It had pictures. does not look fun. Not finding it now. I am considering the set also, but would rather look for a shop to press them out/in.
I bought a set I havent installed yet cause you gotta pull all upper and lower control arms F/R and then have someone press them in and out. Something like $300 for labor on just pressing. But the ones on the strut were just for the top hat and easy to do w/ no noise.
