What is this box on the canadian civic dx?

what is this box. Located on the drivers side shock tower area next to clutch reservoir.

Could the thing in your trunk be the ABS module? It's kind of in a little bracket held on the passenger side under the trunk lining?

So even without it my lights will operate normally correct?

I've always heard canadian civic had ABS//arn't you suppose to hear it or something because I sure can lock up the wheel on the pavement.

it looks exactly like an ECU thats in the back of the trunk...the ? was already answered though...its the computer to the ABS.
