Default 1997 Integra Type R (#104 of 318) Northern California (Bay Area)

1997 Acura Integra Type R
VIN: JH4DC2319VS002929
Mileage: 88,xxx miles

I have decided to sell my car after purchasing a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. If you are looking at this webpage, I'm sure you have some intimate knowledge of the Integra Type R and what makes it such a special car. I'd like to give you some background on the car, list the few modifications, and then explain the pricing.

The original owner of this car purchased the car from Niello Acura in Sacramento in 1996/7. He eventually traded it in for an S2000 when it was newly released. At that time, the car was bought by my then college roommate (~1999). He owned the car for approximately one year before he purchased a Prelude SH. With the new Prelude, he passed the ITR onto his younger brother. Two years ago, his younger brother moved out of country from the United States and sold his car to me (November 2002).

After acquiring the car, I made a few simple modification to the vehicle. An upgraded brake system by Spoon Sports went in at ~70K miles. A Mugen Intake system was installed at approximately the 80K mile mark. Recently, the clutch was replaced with a new OEM clutch disk, lightweight Clutchmasters flywheel, a JDM final drive (OEM ratio= 4.4 ; JDM ratio= 4.785), and a Advanced Clutch Technology pressure plate. The original owner had alread installed an upgraded suspension setup consisting of a set of Tokiko Illumina 5-way adjustable shocks.

-89K Miles
-Oil changes every 3K miles w/OEM filters and oil (5W-30)
-Registration paid until 8/2005
-All paperwork will be provided

Asking price of current vehicle (including):
-JDM final Drive
-Clutchmasters lightweight flywheel
-Advanced Clutch Technology pressure plate
-Tokiko Illumina 5-way adjustable shocks

Asking price: $16,500

As many of you know, the 1997 version was extremely limited in production. Many have been lost to theft, accidents, and unforeseen events. You are looking at a unique driving experience that few cars available today are able to offer. If you have any questions, please email me with your questions and telephone number.

Thanks for looking!
Eddie J.

Stay firm on the price! It'll make all of our '97 go up in value.

Jay,
Thanks for vouching for me. I appreciate it. I'm sure I'll be down at Buttonwillow to see you, Mike, Austin, Yoshi, and co. for another event. I still get to pit with you guys even though I don't have a Honda, right?

vtec,
The price listed is with the items/modifications included in the description. If the buyer decides they would prefer a car closer to stock or bone stock, it can be done with an appropriate adjustment to the selling price.

I don't see that many '97s these days.

With the thefts, salvages, and accidents, I can only imagine that there are very few left intact...

I will take some of those parts off your hands if the would be owners do not desire them on it. Otherwise, nice car and I hope it finds a nice home.

Cryptik,
I'm thinking that unless a real enthusiast purchases the car, it would be more worthwhile to sell the parts separately. Let me know what you're interested in, and we can work something out. It's a bonus that you're in the bay area.
