any body have irregular idle? or a high idle?
in my obd1 integra ls the idle is high, it sometimes shifts lower and jumps back up again, there seems to be a hole or a valve in the throttle body that is sucking in air rapidly and when i have that plugged it idles somewhat normal(maybe a little low sometimes)
i think there is a gsr throttle body on my car too since the throttle cable bracket makes the cable hit my hood
help me out if you can
dont know what i would be searching for...?

With the car fully warm, plug the lower port in the mouth of the throttle body using your finger. If the idle comes down, then the FITV isn't closing.
There is also a possibility that it could also be leaking from one of the rubber seals b/w the FITV and throttle body.
Look for other vacuum leaks.

yes the lower hole in the throttle body makes the idle come down to about normal its still kinda ruff(i wouldnt reccomend closing it with a finger becaus it sucks in hard, i taped over it)
is there any way to fix that or do i need a new tb?

I'm not sure if the OBD0 engines used a FITV. They might have used a sort of solenoid air injection found on older Honda's.
The FITV is short for Fast Idle Thermo Valve. It's the piece on the bottom of the throttle body with the coolant nipple poking out diagnolly.
