Did you replace all the gaskets? If so, how much $? How many miles per tank now?

Getting ready to do the same.

Did you replace your EGR plugs or did you just put the old ones back in?

I think I will lay mine out as a DIY.

Even though I know of a site that has it already

here is the link to the DIY, it is in PDF (adobe reader) format

http://home.comcast.net/~em-engineering/T2T013.pdf

This should help anyone that is looking to do this.

Good luck

I did this on my car, and they were way clogged! However my problem is that the car is still losing power at 1800 rpms, and sometimes it's backfiring. I made sure I cleaned the living hell out of all four of those things. Did I forget something or could it be something else?

I would have to say it is something else.

Would have to know more before could even try to take a stab at it.

My 96 LX Didnt have plugs all it has is a cover..

BE WARNED THE DIY ON HOME.COMCAST.NET IS'T REALLY THE MOST DETAILED THING UNTILL YOU GET TO TAKING OFF THE COVER (94' &^)" you have to remove the fuel rack, disconect the fuel line take off the fuel injector tray, fuel injectors, and a couple of more things that i dont know the name of....best of luck post here with your results

I have the same symptoms. I think Honda has a 80k warranty on the EGR but I cant seem to find any info. on it. Does anyone know anything about this warranty? Is it for all hondas or just the 99 (99's have a TSB)?

Hell ya, have to give this a try. I run Seafoam through it all the time so I'm curious to see what they look like. How much time and effort we talking to remove the fuel rail (never done it on a Honda)...doesn't look too complicated?

I don't think you have to remove the fuel rail. Just the harness that plugs into each injector to get to the EGR ports.
