STOCK 98 ITR DYNO'ED TODAY.... HERE ARE THE NUMBERS

well guys today I went and had the completely stock 98 ITR dyno'ed today ..... all brand new, plugs, wires, rotor, timing belt, water pump.
I know stock numbers may varry from car to car ... let me know what you think

They say drivetrain losses are around 20%? So, I am guessing 195hp * .8 = 156hp. I guess your car is just normal?

Dynos never read the same, even w/correction. Case in point, my GSR w/an intake actually put down more...but I don't believe it was more at all. Every dyno is different...check your compression, and if it's solid as well, you should be happy

Looks like you have a normal ITR, good thing!
as for % loss... I did the math on my chart and if the motor actually puts out 195 at the crank its a 16% loss.

after reading the articles it sounds like the dyno gives more of a rough estimate of your car's whp due to various factors. i guess its more for tunning the a/f and such. the caR looks healthy
