Im dont know anything about tuning whatsoever.
Is there a difference if you tune a Hondata 2B compared to a Hondata S200?

Meaning will a turbo car running a hondata 2b perform equivalently to a turbo car running the s200?

please elaborate a little on this.

They both do the same thing, your car won't know the difference...

 

The s200 replaced the 2b. With the s200 you can buy "upgrades" like datalogging, and stuff like that without having to send the ecu back to hondata. From what i understand, you just enter in a code and it unlocks that part of the program.

They both do the same thing however, and work the same.

ok, i was thinking that too. but a local tuner was saying that he hondata 2b is outdated and i should get hondata s200.

And I would agree with that as there are changes in the software mainly. Thus a regular Hondata user has no idea the difference but in some instances, better driveability.
Get the S200.

 

i had to go with 2B, my local tuner doesnt have updated software, but its all the stuff
