yes one the front (exhaust side)
their will be a bunch of numbers in circles the year will be their
and its minus one year ie. head is produced one year before the model of car.

That may be so for USDM heads but not JDM. My 96 ITR was first registered in japan in March 1996 and the head stamp says it was cast in febuary 1996.
