Default Dynomax 3" Super Turbo Muffler

Does anynone have this muffler or the Ultra Flo, Im thinking about changing my muffler again for a quieter one. I have a 3" exhaust

I've had a Apex N1 (terribly loud)
My current one is a Magnaflow, not that loud but deep, when im cruising there's a deep tone. Im looking for one that doesn't drone while im cruising.

or how about this one: Its for Ford Diesels "Quiet as Stock" http://www.intechpublishing.net/tns/...ffler_tailpipe

are you sure the dynomax super turbo will be adequit? IT is a "z" design and restricts flow more so than the ultraflo, but the ultraflo is louder...I say go for the ultraflo

Flowmasters are a myth. They sound good but don't perform well. Dynomax are actually pretty good mufflers.

Try adding a longer resonator to your set-up, it should quiet things down a little more, and will be cheaper than getting a new muffler.

As my
Mustang buddies say,"You don't get any Go, if you go with Flows."

I have a 2.25" super turbo muffler on my '90 teg. My car isnt turboed and its smaller diameter so i dont know how much different it will sound. On the highway you can't really hear the exhuast unless you get on it. My car definately has a very deep quiet tone to it which i like. I also added a cherry bomb type muffler inline to act as a resonator and it really got rid of that "ricey" tin sound.

At this point, I don't really care about performance to give up some peace and quiet. I don't mind losing 5-10hp and I already have a 22" resonator on my exhaust. So do you guys think the super turbo muffler is the quietest 3" muffler?

I think one of the best ways to quiet down an exhaust system is to put in one of those Moroso spiral-flow mufflers as a resonator in your system. Those babies seriously smooth out the flow with virtually no restriction.

_______

how would you know they don't perform well? do you have any backing with that statement?
ok it's an 87 integra with a freaking greddy kit running low 13's with 2.5" exhaust.
the car weights just about 2700lbs. i don't see anybody running that time with a freaking civic si and a greddy kit turbo in my area . so now does your's do?

anyway if you don't want the noise, why bother with the 3" exhaust......
there is always a compramise when it come to performance and this is one of them so live with it!!!!!!!!!!
