Default b18c5 crx swap

Hey what's up guys, I've been looking for a fast daily driver and I guess I found what I'm looking for in a 91' crx with the b18c5. I just have a few questions though regarding the swap. First, if I buy an Integra type-r front clip will that come with everything I need to do the swap or will I still need new motor mounts and axles? If so where can I find axels and mounts? Where would you recommend buying the clip from (I'm located in Sacramento, CA)? What kind of 1/4 mile times could I expect with some basic bolt ons (I.H.E.)? I love the idea of having a fast car that'll still have honda reliability thanks to it being put in a lighter car, I just wanna say thanks in advance for the help guys

an ITR motor in a rex would probably give you between a 13.8-14.2 depending on your elevation.
i just swapped a 97 spec ITR motor into my 4g hatch, and it ran a 14.3 @ 97, at 1000 ft above sea level on a warm day. the correction factor for the track is something crazy like 4 tenths of a second, so in ideal conditions it would run 13.9.m This was also with I/H/E and Nitto Drag Radials.

hope this helps.

by the way - if you have the dough to do it, its an AWESOME swap. you wont regret it.

You will need obd1 conversion harness, Shift linkages, Motor Mounts and may want to change your throttle cable to a 90-93 integra. You also need 90-93 Integra axel's and Jack shaft. I probably missed some stuff but thats a good start

The front clip will come with most of what you need. I am not sure about the axles, though. But I can tell you that if you use a 1990-1993 Integra intermediate shaft with hybrid axles (1986-1989 Integra outers/shafts with 1990-1993 Integra inners), you will get an OEM Honda perfect fit. As for mounts, a mount kit is required. The other matter is wiring. The cheapest and easiest way to go is to use the stock P73 ECU. This is no more difficult to wire up than a P28/P72 and is ready to go without expensive retuning.

As for quarter mile times, alot of this depends on your launching ability. The bolt-ons matter as well (a Hytech header is going to give you better times than a DC JDM 4-1, for instance). But expect ETs from the mid 13s to low 14s with trap speeds in the low to mid 100s.

The only place I know of that sells JDM swaps here in Sacramento is Venus Motorsports. But they tend to be more expensive than Southern California importers (consider this a convenience fee). If you decide to go through a Southern California importer, I recommend driving down there to pick up the motor yourself. You will save ALOT on shipping. And you will be MUCH more likely not to get a piece of junk.
