Default Best Exhaust

I've done alot of searching to find the BEST catback system for my 93 EX coupe. But there seems to be no definitive answer. Is there a website that has dyno comparisons of the best catback systems out there?

I'm looking to spend around $500-600. Does anyone know what the best system in this price range? Somewhere in this forum i'v read that the Thermal Research CL system is one of the best (it was in one of those basic Accord guides). What i'm looking for is Hard facts aka dyno charts and/or comparisons before opinions.

Just tryin to know what i'm spendin my hard-earned cash on. you dig?

P.S. To save space and time, i'll apply the above to other basic bolt-ons that you guys have advice for. I appreciate it!!!

personally...i dont see why you should pay $500 for an exhaust unless your wanted to say you own "Xyz" exhaust. you dont get a massive gain from it, or anything of the sorts. i plan on buying a nice muffler, resonators, blah and having the piping custom bent. i dont know what custom piping will run as im getting it done for free....but you will save a couple hundred dollars im sure...just a thought. this goes for the intakes too. buy a cheap ebay intake and replaced the filter with a nice K&N. again, you wont see huge gains...and these cheap ebay ones do the same as the AEM, etcc.... the cheap ones tend to get hot and will, i guess, warp...so you would wanna do something abotu that. but thats no big deal.

Just get a KTeller exhaust with a magnaflow, Apex'i or Flowmaster muffler. It'll save you money and you'll see the same gains.

Just make sure you get stainless steel.

I'm also looking for a full catback system, but for my 95 Accord EX. Don't go the cheap route you'll get what you pay for!

Yeah dont get any eBay specials. With KTeller you get a good build and quality, and then you pick a brand name muffler of your choice. You really dont see that much of a gain from an exhaust system unless youre FI.

Yeah that makes sense so that way he can have a stock exhaust with a turbo kit. Oh wait you just said a turbo. Hmmmm..... You may want to try and learn a little before you start posting.

in teh newbs defense, bolt on turbo kit w/o any other mods > cat back....but thats kinda ******* retarded.........

there really is no "best" exhaust.....because opinions vary on best style, best tone, best volume.....and in the long run, they all will be within 1-2whp of each other

A turbo kit with stock exhaust is going to be dissapointing.

so in the name of tone, what SYSTEM would you reccomend? Like you, I've seen and heard too many ricer boiz with those cheap raspy-sounding MUFFLERS.

Priority 1. Performance 2. Tone 3. Volume
