GSR into EH Si swap (LOTS of pics)

This is the recent swap we did last weekend on a friends car (93ehSi).

JDM GSR longblock
USDM ITR transmission
ACT XDSS clutch w/xtreme PP (ITR flywheel)
DC header
P72

We had some problems getting spark after the swap. Went through two bad distributors.. finally got one to work.

Yours truly.

You guys are funny! Nice swap... what the hell kind of wire/rope were you guys using to hold the motor up on the cherry picker? Looks scary.

Swap took two days. We took our time. Ordered Pizza, smoked alot of cigarettes, made alot of runs to Schucks... etc.

Turned out really nice. Still a check engine light for knock sensor so hopefully we'll get that cleared up in a couple days.

The cable on the engine is just your regular cable with clamps on the end. It supported my TT 500 pound RB so I figured we'd use it.
