will LS rods fit in d16y8
I searched my *** off, both archived and recent, topics and threads and all that because I know how you guys are flame happy. From what I gathered, you can make them fit but they wont fit directly.

You will have to machine the large end of the rod to fit the D series crank journal, and you will have to get a bushing from Crower to reduce the size of the wrist pin hole to accommodate the D series pin. You might have to notch the block, but I don't remember off the top of my head.
hmm, I wonder if its worth all that?
How much would all that machining and bushings cost? And thanks for not giving me a hard time. by the way the plan is to turbo, 7-9 psi but if I use these rods I was hoping for 10 safely. Yes, I know this is the na forum!

I don't believe you can even do this anymore, they no longer sell them.
