Default ls rods in d16y8

i was wondering if the ls rods will fit in a d16y8 block? if it does what is required to make it fit? one last thing, would je pistons and shotpeened ls rods be good for a mild turbo setup (7psi)? thanks... sorry for so many questions.

I have a similar setup in d16z arias pistons with ls rods. The machine shop did some work on the rods to make them fit. They narrowed the big end I belive cant remember correctly. Anyhow I boost 9psi daily, but my car still needs to be tuned.

Are you going to assemble it? I let the machine shop (RPS in torrance) put together the bottom end.

D16. LS's are too wide.

B18A/B, B16A. BTW D16A1/ZC rods are a good fit and stronger than more modern D16 rods too

Anyone know what the machine work to the LS rods usually runs? I'll probabally stick with my ZC rods, but I'm just curious...anything is better than my toothpick Y8 rods

If I could find a set of LS rods for really cheap, and the machine work didn't cost much, I might use 'em...

how much you want for a set? I'm considering the whole LS rod setup. since I might have a spare block soon.
