painting a Carbon fiber hood...
i want to paint my CF hood to match my car, but my concern is the paint cracking because its so flexible. i want to save money and use an enamel rather than urethane.
anybody get away with enamel and it not cracking?

to get like a ghost effect of it, just throw a kandy over it to somewhat match your paint color, and clear it, im sure it wont crack. Krylon makes a rattle can paint for plastics called FUSION that bonds to the plastic on a molecular level, only nice color is SUN DRIED TOMATO, but yea, i dunno, kandy it, so its CF but with some translucent color over it.
