Default DZUS fasteners for CF hood?

Have any of you luders installed Dzus fasteners on your CF hoods? I like the look of em' better than pins or locks, and would like to cure the "bowing" (VIS) of the hood along the fender lines as well as breathe easy for the added safety.

Nifty idea... looks more discrete then hood-pins.

i think finding a place to mount that tab would be the hardest part. the hood pins are usually positioned in a location where the stress will cause the most damage, and trying to put a Dzus fastener there most likely wouldn't work. but if you could find a way to put it closer to the fender like in the pic, it might work. but i don't think it will cure your bowing. you're just putting stress on the fiberglass frame of the hood AND the fastener.

Yup

I believe the hardest part would be finding a good spot to put them. I've considered it in the past, but a few days ago I went w/ some lo-pro hood pins and they work fine. They took the slight bow out from the side of my VIS hood.
