please contact info@modellistadesigns.com. just email them say that denny sent you and you are interested about the ITR CF wing. once we hit the target of 10 we will start production ASAP.
no need for deposit untill we have 10 confirmed interesed people!

I didnt know exactly were to put this so its going here.
I have made an agreement with a shop that lays carbon fiber molds. They are willing to make a batch of OEM CF ITR wings.

Heres the details:
High Grade CF (AA)
Gell Coat with UV protection
Molded off my OEM ITR wing

If we can get 10 people to buy these he will make a whole batch of them.
these are not going to be made in some random place in asia, but here right in the USA. so i can GURANTEE quailty.

Retail is going to be 300 bucks
but as for an introduction it is going to be 220 (shipping will be extra)
please let me know if you are SERIOUSLY interested.
more details will be released soon.

NOTE: there is no picture of the actual item, but if we get serious intrest, they will make one and i will glady post pictures.

How tight is the weave on the carbon fiber material? If its all huge and ugly like every other brand (Seibon, VIS, JDMsh!t, etc) then I would never even consider it. If its just going to be some fiberglass peice with a single layer of CF material laid over it then theres no point. Most of us have a wing that works perfectly to begin with.

This is just an opinion and observation, nothing more. I think itd be a great idea for people with CF hatch lids.

CF wing will look nice on Black ITR.

looks bad on other color ITR in my opinion, like CW.. they don't fit well.

Me needs a wing since the thieves decided my car was not light enough in the rear. So if I'm going to get another wing I would get the CF one

the whole process is going to take about 2 weeks when it starts. I will have to talk to the fabricator if he can make 1 sample so you guys can see it. this company is located in socal so shipping wouldnt be too bad. i just want to see some intrest and if its enough i will buy one myself and show the pics.
NOTE: we can ship anywere in the world. not that big of an item and weighs very light. so i think shipping would not be expensive at all.

okay heres the deal. you can check out how good his carbon fiber is at his website
http://www.modellistadesigns.com. the weave is going to be a 1x1 weave which is a small tight weave. i am going to be talking deposits if you want to and will take approximatly 1 month to get the all ready to be shipped out. if anything happens the with the production of these wings, he is going to be giving a your deposit back. i will make the dead line october 15th 2004.
serious buyers please PM me for my paypal or address.
many people can vouch for me also if you have any insecuraties.
thank you

Anyone ever seen an F1 car? You notice how thick and strong the CF looks?

This is a joke, wtf is this crap. Its just a lot of clear glue and one sheet of CF lmao.

For non-structural parts you don't want that thick of a piece of cf. But yeah maybe another so it isn't see through would be nice, but I bet that thing is light. If you make CF like an F1 car for a hood, then:

1. it won't be light, which is the purpose
2. It will be too strong and in an accident might not break or bend like a hood should. It might just break off the hinges and fly toward the rear. They make it weak so it can bend and or break.
