I am getting some 17" 5Zigen 5ZR Copse rims. I have a WW RS Body Kit on there. I was wondering what springs I should use to lower it and how low can I go to make it........ safe, so I dont rub my kit on hills and parking lot inclines.

Hmm..
my car has 205/50/15 which is pretty clost to a 205/40/17 height.. I cut three coils on my stock springs and installed an ingalls camber kit ( A MUST!!) my crx sits about 2.5 to 3" off the ground at its lowest point

Dont cut your springs, and I wouldnt buy lowering springs either. Just get the coilovers and trial and error it from there. You will need the adjustability of the coilovers to get it right.

 

Hey BigBlockCrx: You might want to think about getting some new springs cause cut springs can be dangerous

 

DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS...you car will bounce like Pam Anderson's ****!

oh and 15" is not even close to 17"

IMHO...17 is waaay to big to slap on a crx

mine was lowered 2.5 inches. in my opinion lower then that is plain stupid, i also had a wings west bodykit on it never scraped
