Default exhaust piping for sohc

this for a friend what do you'll think is the best size piping for a sohc n/a motor it just has the basic i/h/e .

alot of people consider 2.25 pipe diameter.

Agreed. i believe that 2.25" piping diameter would work better in the exit velocity of your exhaust gases. it is almost too big for just i/h/e, IMO. A bigger cam, Aftermarket IM, larger TB, PNP head, and a slight bump in compression in addition to i/h/e/ would work perfect.

Thanks for all the help.
I know she has a 00 ex with with dc headers,dc intake and some kind of muffler no clue what kind. Then im giving her a dohc tb and im going to make her a diy ground kit for the car.

I just did 2.25 and noticed a considerable difference. Can't wait to get some p29 pistons and a Zex cam on that pig. Sounds pretty good too. Running no cat, a resonator and a regular muffler for like a Chevy blazer or something, sound stock untill you really get on it.
