Default b18 obd0-obd1 conversion not getting spark help

I did an b18 swap about 2 months ago, now im doing an obd1 conversion. I bought my harness from ebay. I hooked everything up like it said on the instructions but now im not getting a spark. I had the dizzy tested its fine. I am getting fuel i can smell it. they only wires that i had to hook up were the 4 for the o2 sensor, 1 for a knock sensor, service check switch(check engine light switch to read codes) theres a ground that was suppose to go to a VRM never heard of it, not sure were that is. that could be why im having issues

Install instructions:
WIRE COLOR item function
blue p02shtc 02 Sensor heater ctrl(02blk wire)
white PH02S 02 sensor signal (02 wht wire)
violet VTS Vtec Solenoid signal
gray VTM Vtec pressure switch signal
green IAB Intake Air bypass signal
orange KS Knock Sensor Signal
red or pink(2) IGP POWER(IAB, O2 blk wire)
black or brown(3) PG GRound(SCS, VRM, 02 grn wire)
yellow SCS Service Check Signal

Install note:
IAB is only used on certain engines and only looked for by certain ECU's (p72 and P13), for all other applications it is not required

SCS is used to check for the sensor codes, a toggle swithc can be placed between the YLW wire and the BLK wire, or directly to a ground source. If you choose this option, Keep the YLW wire covered so its does not make contact with anything that may activate the SCS

IGP and PG (power and ground) connections are only recommendations and active locations on the ECU. other locations be used

what i have being used
blue to 02 sensor
white to 02 sensor
violet not used
gray not used
green not used
orange to knock sensor
red or pink to 02 sensor and not to intake
black or brown to switch and 02 sensor other not used
yellow to switch

QUESTION its says VRM for the black or brown wire whats VRM?

what are you running for a distributor? the obd0 doesnt have the cylender position sensor which obd1 does. i did the conversion and needed to get the 4 wire o2 sensor and obd1 distributor

yea with the jumper harness i got from king motor sports had 4 wires for the o2 (yellow to the +12v, orange to 02 sensor heater, gray to 02 sensor ground, white to 02 sensor signal) and another 8 (didnt use 4 of them for vtec) but (brown to #1 injector, blue to #3 injector, blue/green to ckpp and blue/yellow to ckpg). the blue/green and blue/yellow were easy cuz they were color matched with the blue/green and blue/yellow wires on the dizzy.

thats weird the instructions i have dont talk anything about connecting to dizzy, 4 went to the 02 sensor, 2 to a switch for check engine lights 1 to a knock sensor the rest i didnt use

what i have left

violet> Vtec Solenoid signal
gray >Vtec pressure switch signal
green > Intake Air bypass signal
pink > POWER intake air bypass
black > GRound(VRM)

if i knew what it ment by the vrm that could be the reason im not getting anything

it was a miss print on that vrm its for the vtm the vtec needs a ground to engage...one ground is for the o2 another for the scs and other for the vtec....the IAB is most of the time grounded with the grounds near the temp coolant sensor...your connecting power to the IAB...SO everything is connected right...just some info for the future..though

hell yea dude, i feel ya on this one, i have a ls b18a1 in my 90 crx that im re-converting to obd1 (previous owner did a complete hack job) and now im getting fuel, the pump primes, it cranks nice, checked the plug wire location on the dizzy, its all good, brand new dizzy, cap, rotor, plugs and wires but for some reason it wont start, i think i might have the two white wires on the dizzy plug crossed. hopefully thats it or im clueless.

I have same exact problem right now. When I used the OBD 1 Conversion engine harness + the ECU jumper harness, it gave me no SPARK, so I reuse my stock OBD0 engine harness with the OBD0 fuel injector + the resister box + distributor adapter I now have spark and fuel but won't fire up.

The distributor and the ECU worked fine on my friends 93 Hatch, so I know thats not the cause .
