************AIR CONDITIONIG HELP*************
I just finished installing my a/c system. I had taken it out 2 years ago, and decided to install it again. this time i have a b16a. My question is will my b16a compressor work with my a/c system. or do i need my old D series compressor and need to buy a braket????? im sure that my bseries compress or will work can some one verify???? also one hose is slightly bend b.c the hoses fitting to my b series braket is different will this affect the flow???? and do i need to buy a hose off a civic si?? or can i jsut leave it how it is. The guy at the shop said it shouldnt be a problem.

thanks any help is appreciated

you can reuse all your d series ac pipes, condensor and fan and even d series ac compressor and u will need a crv ac bracket or del sol vtec model ac bracket. get a new ac dryer/receiver and have it vacummed and recharged by a ac shop,
ya thanks
i havent gotten a new dryer/receiver ima leave my old one it looks in ok condition hope it works. i am getting it flushed 1st by a pro a/c place. so u think that hose will b ok????

do not reuse your ac dryer/receiver cause it is being exposed to the air for a while. if you want your ac cold. get a new one

where can i buy a new one for a cheep price???? beside my local honda dealer??? will my old dryer / reciever really make my air less cold??? drastically like where ur a/c sucks a$$???
what about that hose can some one verify if that bend is ok??? the guy at teh a/c pace said it was ok as long as it wasnt bent to much. but i want to know just incase so i can look for the right one.

yeah. what ac dryer/receiver does is, it absorbs the moisture and if it is already been exposed to the air, the chances are it might not hold up any moisture and it is only cost me under $30 bucks brand new from local auto parts store. i didnt get it from honda cause i know they charge too much.
and since u are going to spend $100 to a ac shop to have it vacumed and recharged and u dont want to use an old dryer/receiver and ac turns out warm and then have to redo it again for another $100.

my ac set up is weird cause i had to bend two ac pipes to bolt on to gsr ac compressor and i use a jdm p30 ac bracket.

i use the clams to secure the left over thermal wrap that i used for exhaust manifold , on the ac hose because it is so close to exhaust manifold

well i got my a/c charged saturday! and i jsut finished installing ym belt today. everything seems fine. there is no change in my car idle which i feard off. The air sems kinda cold, but not freezing. i did buy a new dryer/receiver. I mesaured the temp. and it"s at about 60 dgrees. with the engine all warmed up. it's better than not having any at all. What does ur guy's a/c system temp feel like???? is it colder than 60 degrees.????? thnaks.
