Default Presidential Detailed: 2007 Honda S2000

This is a 2007 GPW S2k. The customer came to me with a beautifly clean car, just had a few swirls..so I thought ok easy job..ehh...Ended up having to use SIP/PFW to cut enough to get all of the swirling out of the car. I followed with PO5rd and the results were fantastic! The car absolutely GLOWS!

just a side story, the car is outfitted with full CR suspension upgrades and 225/255 REO50A's and I was able to take it for a spin after we were finished! :D I must say I am absolutely IMPRESSED!! I may be going to CR suspension route over coilovers..

Anyways onto the pictures!!

Awesome work here and the others posted! I got a question, is it possible to remove holograms by hand?

This ones easy..no. haha! you will need either porter cable or a rotary with a black or blue finishing pad as well as a finishing polish.

presidential_detail, would you mind if I shoot you a quick PM asking you about some wax products. I wont bother you much and dont want to clutter your threads. I have seen you mention their name a few times and would like your opinion as I use mostly all their stuff. Thanks.

By the way, your work seems absolutely top notch. I wish I could afford to have a vehicle done by you if you were closer.

All you really need is some hard wax and low speed on a buffer to remove most of the spiderwebs in paint. people usually go super crazy with cutting and buffing.

Good luck in your endeavors..

Wax and polish are two completely separate things, wax is not going to fix any swirls in the paint...just as much as hard wax(im assuming you mean paste) does not really belong on a buffer, although I have heard of people using paste wax on a PC with a finishing pad but once again this will not fix the paint by any means, only protect it.

And to get this kind of correction, yes you must go "crazy" with cutting and buffing.

the swissvax, what do you exactly use that for. Seems like it does a really good job. Also do you see any advantege to the adams clay bar as to like a the generally meguiars smooth surface kit?

The swissvax I have is a wheel wax, I use Lusso Oro for the paint. the adams clay is a professional clay, it is way better than the clay kits you find in stores.
