speedo and rpms jump.. car bogs turbo civic
i really need some help..
went out tonight 94 civic dohc zc-t.. car running perfect as usual.. went on the highway and dropped it a gear.. started to get into it and my rpms/speedometer were jumping and my car just bogs..
so i pulled over tightend my spedo sensor, umplugged my battery cable for a couple min then put it back on.. same problem.. alternator is also good! WTF!!
Can this be a bad distributer..
Update: replaced rotor and cap, sparkplugs, and ecu with same tune
Please let me know this is my baby!

nope, changed out from p75 to pr4 and used my chip that i got tuned on.. same problem.. I think its the dizzy.. Someone has to know~
Mine does something kinda like that. Except its only my tach that does it. I've got a P28 with S300 in a 94 Ex and when under boost the tach starts jumping all over the place starting around 5,500 and higher. Yet if I have my laptop plugged in and watching it on Hondata it shows it going smooth all the way up. So I don't think its the ECU necessarily. Sounds like something else to me. But I could be wrong, that's just my experience.

well.. just back back from the parts store.. changed out the the distributor, changed the chip i got tuned on into another ecu, changed my sparks, and made sure sure my tps wasn't loose!..
still doing it mainly under throttle

well i been driving it daily for about 3 months now..
so i know its not the ecu.. and the battery is brand new..
and im getting good constant 14v+

sounds to me like you have two different problems on your hands... you probably have a bad cluster and a separate issue with a sensor if it bogs down. i've never heard of this happening before though so i'm not real sure. sorry i couldnt really help.
well this morning i let it warm up to op. temp. ..
while i was driving to work I started low like 2k in third..
I let it build boost, and around 4,500k it broke up and then the rpms started to jump and the speedo went crazy.. But it's throwning no codes..
but can my cluster cause it to bog, or it's throwing my speed off, so my two step reads 0 mph?
but yea under load

For what it's worth, when my car was running SUPER rich right after I boosted it, it did something similar. Just keep PM'ing me and we'll try to get it figured out.
I've also got a few questions. It only does this when you're on the gas correct? Full throttle? Partial throttle? In gear but out of the gas? Out of gear coasting?
Pull the plugs and see if they're all dark. I swear that sounds like too much fuel.
edit: are you using narrowband output froma wideband for your ecu input or are you using a factory 02 sensor for your 02 input to your ecu?

2 seperate bungs, one for wideband one for stock 02
do you think that its maxing out my injectors, i have a resistor box already..

when i pulled the plugs yesterday they where white and black.. which was weird..
mabye on my tune he put a safety where it would let it dump to much fuel?
