FOR TRADE: 2008 Yamaha R6
Looking to trade for either:
-CHOOPER STYLE
-CRUISER BIKE
-SPORT TOURING
REASON FOR TRADE: I use this bike more then i want to, its fun to ride, damn to fast, but really not that comfortable in a long distance ride.
MILES: 600MILES on bike
LETS SEE WHAT YOU GOT

hope you know if the buyer ask if there has been any damage or what so ever and you fail/neglect to mention your failure to manipulate the bike in a corner, that my friend will result in fraud.
i'm not sure what the law is in PA but hope you got a lawyer or ky jelly.

Re: (fujimi)
How do you hit 150 daily, but only have 600miles?
Did you ever break-in the motor?
Since it went down at 75MPH and hit a curb was it computracked?
Do you have legal paper on the bodywork above the yamaha sign?
Who did the break in service/oil change?
What's the current slack in the chain?
520?
Sprocket changes?
How often did you service the chain?
What type of oil are you using?
Did you replace the tires after the accident?
Did you ever break-in the motor?

^^ cant really reach 150mph on the R6 without going full throttle.
i'd know, i have an 07 R6 too. I have trouble breaking into 160 without a long stretch of road.
the point of asking about miles vs 150mph everyday has to do with breaking in the motor. its not good to go fast until a certain mileage passes. (per yamaha)

its hard to trust someone who listed a bike for sale and failed to mention that it was down until someone "caught" him.

Re: (fujimi)
So you're telling me the forks are perfect? Even after kissing the asphalt at 75mph?
You cannot tell me you went 150mph (daily) without hitting redline or going WOT.
The purpose of breaking in the motor is so everything is seated and lubed correctly. This requires varying the RPM's and speed. Going 150 as soon as you got the bike will do a few things: First of all, the oil consumption will be stupid. Because you only have 600 miles on the bike, you may not notice, but i wouldn't doubt that the bike goes through a quart each oil change. Now open the engine up and look at the wear patter on the piston/cylinder walls. You'll notice very sharp patterns called scuffs or galls
You can't bullshit me because I've been riding probably since you learned how to speak english. I'm not hating on you because you're AZN. In fact, I'm asian too. But you think because you're asian that you know asian bikes. I've logged in more miles in a day that you have in your motorcycling career. I'm no bike expert. But I'm no dumbass either. And just incase GraphiteAccord was bullshitting, I also emailed Yamaha with the pertinent information. Good luck. Good day.
Ride happy, squid.
P.s. why didn't you start off on a busa? You never would outgrow something like that.

I think this is a little extreme and immature. The OP clearly was exaggerating about the speed he drives daily, and the crash speed. The bike has been dealer serviced / repaired. Im sure he would have explained that the bike had been down on further inquiry.
Emailing Yamaha to try and void his warranty is a Rat bitch move. We have called him out. Thats fair enough.
