ok, so i just switched to a 92-93 bumper on my 91 integra da....i ran into something i needed to swap that i was not aware i would have to do and figured there are others that have or will run into this issue as well so here is just a quick how-to on switching the front bumpers....
1. take out the screws on the back side of the bumper (in the wheel well)
2. take out the outer screw from your bumper lights and pull them out. disconnect the socket from the lens.
3. take a 12mm socket, extension, and ratchet and remove the 2 bolts that are behind your bumper lens as seen in the pic (2 on each side of car)...

4. now remove the bumper from the car.
5. now you will see what the bumper actually attaches to (where you took the two 12mm bolts out of)...on the left you will see the 90-91 piece and on the right the 92-93...

6. again with your 12mm remove the 4 bolts holding this piece on.
7. put the piece from the 92-93 in place of the one you just took off (there are only 3 bolts for this piece instead of 4)
8. just a better look at what you are changing exactly...

9. now with both 92-93 pieces installed, you can install the 92-93 bumper. installation is just the reverse of taking off your old one.
10. enjoy the look of the newer bumper!
i hope this helps somebody out in the future...

correct me if im wrong but cant you just put the 92-93 bumper to 90-91 integra without changing that part where you screw the bumper support ,because all your doing is changing bumper not bumper support

well after talking to another guy from the da squad, im honestly not quite sure now. i didnt try just switching the bumper cover and reusing the bumper support because i heard b4 that you couldn't do that....which is why i did it the way i did. i would honestly like to find some more feed back on this...
either way it worked out the way i did it, but im thinking i did more work than i needed too

you don't have to swap the brackets and bumper support. All you have to swap is the bumper cover. If I remember right you just have to cut down the ends of the 90-91 support. There's a write up on it on g2ic.

It's not completely a direct replacement. When you swap the 92-93 cover onto the 90-91 support, you also have to trim the ends off of the 90-91 Styrofoam
I swapped a 92-93 front bumper cover onto my 90 da. i actually took the foam completely out, you don't need it. I did however have to trim the ends on the actual bumper support. I'd imagine it would be a lot easier if i would have gotten a bumper support to match the bumper(92-93), since they are different, but with a cutting tool and some patience, she's on
Ok i know this is an OLD tread But i wanted to point out a Piece of Info.
the 92~93 Cover fits if you trim the ends of the support structor of the 90~91 under it.
but in some states (mine included) this is Not legal.
a friend was in a crash (5 cars and a light pole) the only damage to his car was the bumper cover was torn off his car as the car the hit every buddy passed in front of him.
But the cop on the scene noticed the saw marks on the bumper support of his car this meant he had Modified a Safety device of the car.
and under the state law this meant the car as unsafe and not allowed on public roads
their by making him at fault.
the fines added up to $2500 + the impunding of his car ($1200) +the new light pole ($3500) + he got 5 claims on his insurance.
So it might be more time to swap the 92~93 bumper support as well as the cover it could save your wallet a lot of Money in your state.

I don't know about all that bro because I have the whole 90-91 JDM front clip on my 93 integra DA and I never had to change out nothing and the bumper fits great even with the styrofoam inside piece.
