B16a/a3 low idle on cold start, Don't have a freakin clue to what's causing it!!!!! HELP!
okay, i have a b16a block/b16a3 head, 99 si manifold, i believe a obd2 LS or B16 throttle body( has no FITV), GSR cams, everything internally is stock, and running a p28 chipped ecu. When i start up the car in the morning, it idles very low, like under 1000 RPM, and just stays like that untill it fully warms up. The drive and feel of the motor is normal when driving, racing ect. ect. If u drive for a while and just turn of the engine and restart it back up, the idle goes up to about 1,500 rpm (which i think it's normal) and quickly falls back down to 800-900rpm( which again i think thats normal) but only when on cold starts it idles very low.
here's the only picture i got right now of the intake system just to give u an idea of how everything is setup.

i thinking it's the ECU, IAC sensor or the TPS, but then again i don't know. any advice on what to check for please shead some light on me. Thanks

ok, ive took out the IAC and TB, clean it with carburator choke cleaner, blew all the stuff inside the IAC with compress air, put everything back on the intake, drain some coolant out from the radiator, add some new coolant, start it up and still idles low on cold start, same ****! what else should i check for?
after all the above, i took it for a test drive and drives good, idles fine when motor is hot, but the cold startup still idles low at "1,000 RPM".
last night i had a CEL code 6 turn on while i was crusing at 65mph on freewway, and this morning, my car is hard to start, first time cranking i could'nt even start it, second crank took about 5-6sec before it fired up. wtf is wrong?? this is without the CEL code 6, cause i restart my ecu last night after the code 6 came on it went off. any idea?
I have the same issue with my JDM b16a, I have no idea what it could be;may just be the way JDM's are. I'm going to look at my fuel injectors tomarrow along with my spark plugs, distributer ect. Have you made any changes to your motor? what clutch do you have? stock? stage 1 2 3? This may also be a factor in your idle, I have a stage 3 ACT clutch. I could be wrong so dont quote me.
